The author of the published study deals with the conspiracy from 20th July 944, especially an unsuccessful attempt to towards Adolph Hitler in his main tent in Rastenburg. He draws his attention to the situation afterwards. The main goal of the attempt was not only the mere liquidation of Hitler, but also an attempt to finish the war sooner than whole Germany was completely destroyed. One of the leading roles was played by Coll. Claus Philipp Maria Schenk-Earl von Stauffenberg. The bomb laid by him in the meeting room exploded however Hitler survived the attempt. The Colonel von Stauffenberg in his belief in the success of the action and no-one having survived fled to Berlin by plane where he, together with the other colonels, tried for a take over and occupation of some decisive buildings. In the end, all the plotters were yet the night executed. The attempt was followed by a wave of persecution, accusation and legal trails against any participants. Gen. Maj. Otto Remer was commanding the guarding battalion of governing buildings in the city. His allegation brings us an interesting point of view on the events in Berlin during the time of the conspiracy.
